APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
APQP is a very detailed approach to quality planning. This is more a process than a method. APQP describes relatively comprehensively which steps and activities have to be carried out prior to the start of production for a product in order to guarantee a high-quality product for the end customer and thus also to fulfill all customer wishes and requirements. This process is divided into five phases in which the results from the previous phase represent the input for the subsequent phase.
